AVAILABLE PUPPIES & THE PROCESS
If you’re looking for our available puppies, you’ll need to select the drop-down menu for this section and select which litter you want to view. Please remember to read this section as well if looking to purchasing one of our puppies.
*At this time, we do not allow anyone over to our home to pick out their puppy or to pick up their puppy. This is for the safety of our family, pets, and puppies. I understand this may not be preferable for you, but if one puppy catches something from someone visiting or handling it, and then goes back to their littermates, they could all catch it and even spread it to other litters. It’s just not worth the risk of not only the puppies being affected, but also the heartbreak of the other families if they lose their puppy.*
If you are looking for a furry friend, this is the place! Here you will find the miniature schnauzer puppies that still need homes, and on occasion, an adult that has been retired from our breeding program that’s looking to continue being spoiled with a new family of their own. We use AKC, CKC, and APRI for registering our puppies.
We do require a $300 non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy of your choice with the rest due when get your puppy in person. You may transfer the deposit to a different available puppy or litter at any point in time. We do send a deposit agreement via email before any money is sent, if requested.
Our puppies come vaccinated, microchipped, socialized, and health checked before leaving us, which is no earlier than 8 weeks of age. All of our puppies come with a puppy pack that includes:
puppy food
blanket
couple of toys
shot, worming, & microchip records
vet clearance paperwork
30 days of free pet health insurance through Trupanion (activated by the new owner within 24 hours of taking the puppy home)
Once we receive the deposit on your puppy, we will send updates as frequently as we can. Sometimes it'll be weekly, but may also be bi-weekly depending on what all we have going on or if they've reached any new milestones. Milestones for puppies are usually 2 weeks for eyes opening, 4 weeks for steady walking, 6 weeks for their haircut, and 7-8 weeks when their personalities are really blossoming and then are ready to go home.
Make sure you have a vet appointment set up within the first week of your puppy coming home. A vet check is required, per our contract, within 3 days to cover parvo and 10 days to cover all other intestinal parasites, abnormalities, or other medical issues that may have been missed by our vet.
We ask that you make plans and be prepared to bring your puppy home once it turns 8 weeks old and is cleared by the vet. If we have to hold on to your puppy past 9 weeks due to any circumstance that don't involve the puppy's health, we charge $15/day for boarding. We do administer any necessary worming or vaccines and will also give your puppy another grooming session during this period if necessary. This is not to extend past 12 weeks of age. Older puppies are much more time-consuming and need more training to grow into wonderful pets, which can be a little harder if we have too many still here that we have to split our time between, not including what we also have going on in our daily lives and raising our kiddos.
Check out the info below regarding litter box training and the food your puppy will be on when being sent home.
LITTER BOX TRAINING
We start litter box training when our puppies are 4-5 weeks old. This has proven to be an easy and very effective method that is easy to clean up and teaches them to potty away from where they sleep. It's recommended the new owner continues this potty training method if they wish to wait until the puppy is fully vaccinated before beginning to transition to potty training outside. This is advisable since Parvo is very easy for a puppy to catch and it can take a puppy down quickly.
When starting off using the litter box, it's best to confine the puppy in a small area so it learns where the litter box is. Since it'll be used to using one, it should catch on quickly. Continue to expand the space as long as the puppy proves to be using the litter box successfully.

PINE PELLETS LITTER
These are the pine pellets we use for litter. They're completely safe and our puppies have never ingested them. They do play with them, but that's usually early one when they're still getting used to the litter box. The pellets will turn to powder once they get wet, so it can get messy if not cleaned out in a timely manner, especially if you're using too many pellets. You only need a thin layer about an inch deep. There are plenty of other options for litter out there, but you get the most for you money with these.

PUPPY FOOD
Your puppy will be sent home with approximately 2 weeks worth of food if feeding 1/2-3/4 cup per day. It'll be enough to transition him/her to their food of your choice or it'll give you enough time to grab a bag of your own. Our puppies have done very well on this food and we love the size of the kibble!
